What is Find My?

Find My is Apple's device-location service. It shows your iPhone, iPad, Mac, AirPods and AirTags on a map, plays sounds to locate them nearby, and can remotely lock or erase a lost device.

Check it's on under Settings → [your name] → Find My, including Find My network (locates devices even when offline) and Send Last Location. Activation Lock — which stops thieves reusing a wiped phone — comes free with it.
