What is Location Sharing?

Location sharing broadcasts your live position to chosen people — via Google Maps, Find My, WhatsApp live location — either for a set time window or indefinitely.

The indefinite mode is the one to audit: check who can currently see you in Google Maps' sharing panel and Find My's People tab. Time-boxed sharing ("for 1 hour") suits meetups better than a standing broadcast.
