What is Quick Share?

Quick Share (formerly Nearby Share) is Android's answer to AirDrop: send photos, videos and files directly to nearby Android phones, Chromebooks and Windows PCs over a direct wireless connection.

It's in the share sheet of any app and in Quick Settings. Set visibility to Contacts rather than Everyone so strangers can't send you files in public.
