What is Audio Description?

Audio Description (AD) is an alternate soundtrack in which a narrator describes on-screen action between lines of dialogue, making film and TV accessible to blind and low-vision viewers.

Select it in a title's audio/language menu on Netflix, Disney+, iPlayer and most services. If narration appears unexpectedly, an AD track got selected — switch the audio back to the standard language track.
