What is Autoplay?

Autoplay starts the next episode — or a preview, or an unrelated recommended video — automatically. It's engineered to keep you watching and is on by default everywhere.

Every major service lets you disable it: Netflix (Account → Profiles → Playback settings), YouTube (the toggle in the player), Disney+, Prime Video and TikTok all have equivalents. Turning off autoplaying previews also makes browsing menus calmer.
